Odprt je nov mednarodni razpis "Graz City Writer - literarno gostovanje", ki bo potekal med septembrom 2023 in avgustom 2024.
Izvajali ga bodo v okviru Oddelka za kulturo, pod okriljem literarne štipendije mesta Graz - City Writer.

The condition of participation is an announced literary project to be worked on during the stay.
The scholarship award provides a free apartment in the historic Cerrini-Schlössl on the Schloßberg Graz in the middle of the city as well as a monthly allowance of Euro 1,300.
The residency is well known in the international literary scene and is accordingly widely recognized. In 2022 there were a total of 59 applications from 21 countries.
The 2022/2023 scholarship went to Abdelaziz Baraka Sakin, who was born in Sudan in 1963. He is considered one of the most important voices of Arabic-language literatures in the European diaspora.
Accompanying the authors during their year in Graz which is correspondingly time-consuming and has been carried out by the team of Kulturvermittlung Steiermark in agreement and coordination with the Cultural Office Graz for around 25 years.
