In the scope of the preparatory activities in light of Slovenia's candidacy as Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair and in congruence with its strategic orientation, the Slovenian Book Agency hosts the first study visit for a group of foreign publishers and culture journalists from German speaking countries.

The programme is filled with literary events scheduled to take place at various exciting venues. Our guests will travel to Trieste while enjoying the sights of Ljubljana, Bled, Lipica, and Medana along the way.

In the scope of the study visit to Slovenia, we will host six guests -representatives of the respective publishing houses Schoeffling, Wagenbach, Zsolnay, and Hanser as well as the respective media groups Neue Zuricher Zeitung and WDR.

Our guests are scheduled to meet colleagues from various institutions and attend an informal meeting, to which we would cordially invite you as well.

The meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 3 September 2015, at 18:00 (6:00 PM), at the Slovenian House restaurant (Cankarjevo nabrežje 13, Ljubljana).
