The estimated value of the public tender for translations into foreign languages for this year is 100.000 EUR. The estimated value of the public tender for publications in German language is 60.000 EUR.

The Slovenian Book Agency would also like to point out that last year there has been a change regarding the public tender for translations into foreign languages and that this change applies in 2019 too: the applicants must be legal entities (publishers) in the respective foreign countries, translators themselves will not be eligible applicants anymore.

The applicants for the public tender for Publications of Slovenian literature in German language have to be (as previously) legal entities in Austria, Germany or Switzerland.

Moreover, the 2019 mobility grant is also on: Slovenian authors you would like to invite to your festivals, book tours or other literary events can apply for the travelling expenses refund.
