Alongside lyrics poetry, short stories are some of the best Slovenian literature can offer. The publishing house Residenz Verlag has published an anthology of Slovenian short prose in collaboration with the Slovenian publishing house Goga, titled Ereignis in der Stadt (2023). Among its authors are also the multiple award-winning Veronika Simoniti and Sebastijan Pregelj, who write novels alongside short prose. The conversation will be moderated by the editor of the Residenz publishing house, Jessica Beer, and will be held in English.
