Description: Slovenian writer Jela Krečič (Ni druge (None Like Her)) and Croatian author Ivana Sajko (Ljubezenski roman (Love Novel)) were born in the 1970s in the former Yugoslavia. They have lived through the collapse of the state, and in their books they write about male characters who do not find their way in post-Yugoslav capitalism. Through various love affairs they reveal the new political reality of the region and of Europe as a whole. The discussion will be moderated by the author and translator Alida Bremer. The discussion will be conducted in English.
