Description:
During the time of the coronavirus pandemic, the audience, which is interested in literature, got used to the possibility of following events online or, alternately, of watching or listening to the recordings of these events. How to invite the audience to readings? What role does the marketing play in this and what role the weather? Who goes to poetry readings and who to events with Slovenian authors? Experienced organizers of such events will address these topics in this conversation, which will be moderated by the director of Literarisches Colloquium Berlin, Florian Höllerer. He will exchange his experiences with the director of a publishing house in Salzburg and an organiser of various events that include Slovenian writers and musicians, Tomas Friedmann, and Tanja PetriÄ, the president of the Slovenian Association of Literary Translators and an organiser of many events herself. The conversation will be held in German.
