Around 1970, the young filmmaker Karpo Godina travelled around Vojvodina with his camera and made an unusual road movie titled Imam jednu kuÄu. Only fragments of that film have survived. Forty years on, another camera makes the same trip, putting together and imagining the travels of the young K.G.
Playing Men
Matjaž IvaniŔin, Slovenia/Croatia, 2017, DCP, 1.66, B&W / colour, 60', English subtitles
While filming a documentary on men and play, the director runs into a major creative block. In the period that follows, he begins to experience his surroundings as part of the game. His childhood memories and images of the unfinished project integrate into an ode to the absurdity of gesture.
