Description:
Olga Martynova and GaÅ”per Kralj have moved often in life due to various reasons. Olga Martynova was born in Russia but lives in Frankfurt. GaÅ”per Kralj lived in Barcelona for a long time. They are connected by the intimate experience of social conditions and challenges of the world, which is singular and yet fractured into pieces due to numerous, often invisible tensions. GaÅ”per Kralj has received multiple awards in Slovenia, the first German translation of his work, titled Splitter eines Lebens, was published by Mitteldeutscher Verlag. Olga Martynova writes in German and has received the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize in 2012. Recently, her book about the experience of widowhood titled GesprƤch Ć¼ber die Trauer has been published by S. Fischer.
