Slovenia in Frankfurt – this year with our first ever virtual stand!
This week the Frankfurt Book Fair - special edition is taking place and the Slovenian Book Agency is joining it with our first ever virtual Slovenian national stand, which can be accessed from Wednesday till Friday, 14-16 October, from 9.30-16.00 at this website.* The virtual stand will be accompanied by several digital or hybrid Slovenian events.
Visitors at the virtual stand can visit our showroom, which was inspired by our real-life book fair stand, designed by Slovenian architect and poet Lucija Stupica. There you can browse through 100+ new titles by Slovenian authors, catalogues and videos or have a chat with our crew and Slovenian publishers Mladinska knjiga, Cankarjeva založba, Sodobnost International, Založba Pivec, Miš, Goga and ZTT (Trieste Press). You can also book a meeting with the listed publishers and meet them in individual meeting rooms.
We will also be joined by Traduki network representatives as part of our three-year program Common Ground (2020-2022) and representatives of the Slovenian Tourist Board, who will provide visitors with the latest information on travelling to Slovenia in times of Covid-19 pandemic.
