Description:

Malinc publishing house is involved in various international projects (GG4A, Bidiland, LIT-UP, LETS, KUP and LITPRAX), co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme. At the round table, we will talk about the importance of smaller European literatures for the European cultural landscape and bibliodiversity, and how smaller publishers can make their mark in the international environment and the training courses organized in the LITUP project for publishers working in environments with minority and smaller languages.

Idoia Noble is translator, interpreter with editing and music experience, collaborator of the Association of Basque Language Publishers in the European project "LIT-UP” and of the Publishing house Alberdania in “GG4A” and “Bidiland”.

Marian Val is responsible for the internationalisation office and international book fairs at AEPV. She also has experience in European Programmes and now she is the coordinator of the LIT-UP project.

Barbara Pregelj is cofounder and editor-in-chief at Malinc Publishing House, translator, interpreter, lecturer and researcher with bibliography of more than 700 bibliographical entries. At Malinc she designed reading promotion projects and different projects at national and international level.

Polona Konjedic holds an MA degree in English and Comparative Literature. She works as a foreign rights manager for Založba Malinc. She also prepares didactic materials for school and coordinates various EU projects.
